Hi!
I had the same problem yesterday until I noticed that
the nfs demon wasn't running on the machine that I tried
to mount.

Regards,

Can somebody please help me with the MOUNT command.
I am trying to mount NFS, and the MOUNT quits with no
error message, and no result whatsoever. I can enter
non-existent IP address or directory to mount- there
still will be no errors reported.
The MOUNT syntax I am using is straight from the
   Manual:
   /bin/mount -t nfs 192.168.100.40:/root/testing
   /testing
   Anybody knows what's going on?

   Thanks,
   Dmitry
