Well, when I have time to buy one and play with the drivers,
I intend to find out. I expect that they should be fine,
but I have no data from looking at an oscilloscope.
Interesting discussion of serial port implementations, Alex. What is
your experience/opinion of the USB/serial adapters that are becoming
available now? They obviously can't use BCLK anymore for timing, is
there a more stable clock source on USB that they use, or do they just
supply their own crystal (what a concept! :-)?
