You wouldn't want to use ODBC - too much overhead. I'm more of a
PostgeSQL guy but I would imagine that there are native MySQL tools to
query a remote database via C or Perl. I'm sure that you would have to
port them to the CPU32, though. Grab the source tarball of MySQL and
check it out.
