Home Phoneline Networking Alliance. A definition for 1.0 Mbit and 10.0
Mbit networking
over the standard home telephone wires. This allows multiple PC's to
make a simple LAN
within a home using the existing telephone wires. As the signal is
outside the normal voice
bandwidth, you can have simultaneous voice conversation (or modem) and
LAN data on the
wires.

PCI, parallel port, and USB devices are available from Intel, 3Com and
others.

We would also like to add homePNA support to the ucSIMM and use the
ucSIMM as a simple
router.
