I can't tell you the minimum requirements, but uClinux works fine in
1MB FLASH + 1MB RAM. The kernel that I use is less than 400K
(.text+.data)
and this includes TCP/IP (incl. IP filtering and IP aliasing), PPP, NFS
(+root filesystem on NFS) and other goodies. The kernel + full uCsimm
root filesystem occupy less than 1MB.
