If you are willing to experiment: Based on David's work I did a
gcc-3.0.2 based toolchain. C++ is without libstdc++ right now. The build
process is a little bit more complex than David's toolchain, but you
should be able to do it. Read my announcement to this list:

I see the patches are not archived very well by the web archiver. If
