Thanks for your reply.
But, I "DID" sync the disk.
If I did not sync the disk, the files and directories written in uClinux couldn't be read again in uClinux after power off, but I could.
I suspect that nls charset used in VFAT may cause the problem, but I'm not certain.
Who knows it?

I suspect you forgot to issue a `sync` command to your UClinux system prior
to removing the media. I have seen the described symptoms using UClinux 2.0.38
with IDE CompactFlash when I omitted the `sync` step.

Hi, I integrated IDE controller into uClinux 2.0 and installed VFAT file system on the disk.Reading and writing files on it was successful. But, when I moved the disk into my PC, the files and directories written in uClinux were NOT visible in Windows 9x.Files and directories written in Windows 9x were visible in uClinux 2.0. What causes it?Is it charset problem? Or any other guess? Thanks in advance. ===================================================================================
