Hi David, Here is the tcpdump file on the server side (Redhat machine with rp-pppoe server running). Also here is the command I use (discovery phase is passed, but for a reason I ignore the client doesn't see the ACKs sent by the server...) > pppd pty 'pppoe -p /var/pppoe.pid -T 80' noipdefault noauth default-asyncmap defaultroute nodetach usepeerdns local mtu 1492 mru 1492 noaccomp noccp nobsdcomp nodeflate nopcomp novj novjccomp user ilann lcp-echo-interval 20 lcp-echo-failure 3 debug & [23] > pppd 2.3.9 started by aplio, uid 0 Using interface ppp0 Connect: ppp0 <--> /dev/ttyp0 sent [LCP ConfReq id=0x1 <mru 1492> <magic 0xec6f9996>] Timeout 0x1c3ee8:0x1dfacc in 3 seconds. sent [LCP ConfReq id=0x1 <mru 1492> <magic 0xec6f9996>] Timeout 0x1c3ee8:0x1dfacc in 3 seconds. sent [LCP ConfReq id=0x1 <mru 1492> <magic 0xec6f9996>] Timeout 0x1c3ee8:0x1dfacc in 3 seconds. sent [LCP ConfReq id=0x1 <mru 1492> <magic 0xec6f9996>] Timeout 0x1c3ee8:0x1dfacc in 3 seconds. sent [LCP ConfReq id=0x1 <mru 1492> <magic 0xec6f9996>] Timeout 0x1c3ee8:0x1dfacc in 3 seconds. sent [LCP ConfReq id=0x1 <mru 1492> <magic 0xec6f9996>] Timeout 0x1c3ee8:0x1dfacc in 3 seconds. sent [LCP ConfReq id=0x1 <mru 1492> <magic 0xec6f9996>] Timeout 0x1c3ee8:0x1dfacc in 3 seconds. sent [LCP ConfReq id=0x1 <mru 1492> <magic 0xec6f9996>] Timeout 0x1c3ee8:0x1dfacc in 3 seconds. sent [LCP ConfReq id=0x1 <mru 1492> <magic 0xec6f9996>] Timeout 0x1c3ee8:0x1dfacc in 3 seconds. sent [LCP ConfReq id=0x1 <mru 1492> <magic 0xec6f9996>] Timeout 0x1c3ee8:0x1dfacc in 3 seconds. Bao, If you could run "tcpdump -s 2048 -w tcpdump.out -i eth0 " for both the uClinux and redhat connections, we can have a look and see what is going wrong. I have an idea it may be related to packet bunching, Cheers, Davidm -- David McCullough: Ph: +61 7 3435 2815 Lineo (The Embedded Solutions Company) davidm@lineo.com Fx: +61 7 3891 3630 PO Box 925, Kenmore QLD 4069, Australia This message resent by the uclinux-dev@uclinux.org list server http://www.uClinux.org/
