Go get palmloader at http://www.uclinux.org/pub/uClinux/ports/xcopilot/palm-loader.0.1.0.tar.gz Look at that archive for directions. Basically: 1. Make your kernel (2.0.38.1pre7) for PalmV (configure for kernel in RAM) 2. Alter palmloader makefile to point to your kernel 3. Hotsync the palmloader.prc file 4. Run it! 5. All of your PalmOS data is gone, but you should have a "temporary" uClinux installation. I have gotten this to work somewhat on my PalmIIIe. It boots, shows the splash screen, and then crashes. I never get to a shell prompt!
