Please let me ask query.
My Environment> VZ328ADS board, Windows NT 4.0 Note PC
My Preparation> download the files( binutils-2.9.1.tar, gcc-
2[1].7.2.3.tar...) which is described in the web.
My Procedure>
 1.download the needed files.
 2.extract the files . 
    D:/uClinux/Linux
    D:/uclinux/uclinuxgc-kit-160899

After this, the query is arise.
Q1>In the "getting started with the source code" I see the flex and lex.
      what is this?

Q2> how to edit the makefile and set the install directory for compiler?

I know these're very silly query but I'm novice so forgive me.
