Hey Stefan, It looks like your configure script is choking because you don't have the Config.in script for the mdm directory. Unfortunately I didn't compile with mdm enabled, but you should be able to get the file from another linux build and have it work alright. Unfortunately I don't know enough about the mdm options to hack together a script.
