As I recall, all IRQ and FIQ code is _always_ ARM. So if you wanted to build a kernel in thumb mode, you'd need to be very careful what you did in an ISR. Also, I'm sure it would be fun to link mixed ARM/THUMB code... never tried it, but I love a challenge. > -----Original Message----- > From: owner-uclinux-dev@uClinux.org > [mailto:owner-uclinux-dev@uClinux.org]On Behalf Of Vadim Lebedev > Sent: Thursday, July 13, 2000 10:19 AM > To: uclinux-dev@uClinux.org > Subject: RE: [uClinux-dev] uCLinux ARM thumb-elf > > > You can get a completely untested stuff from aplionet.aplio.fr/ucLinux > > The compiler should work for non usermmode apps... > > But you'll need to write a lot of low level stuf to compile > kernel in THUMB > mode > > > Vadim > > -----Original Message----- > From: owner-uclinux-dev@uClinux.org > [mailto:owner-uclinux-dev@uClinux.org]On Behalf Of Dan Carlson (EUS) > Sent: jeudi 13 juillet 2000 16:30 > To: 'uclinux-dev@uClinux.org' > Subject: [uClinux-dev] uCLinux ARM thumb-elf > > > Where can I find a version of egcs or GCC source / patch that > will support a > thumb-elf target? > > -----Original Message----- > From: Vadim Lebedev [mailto:vlebedev@aplio.fr] > Sent: Thursday, July 13, 2000 7:08 AM > To: uclinux-dev@uClinux.org > Cc: Joe deBlaquiere; tdurant@atmel.fr > Subject: [uClinux-dev] New version of ucLinux/ARM SDK > > > > Hello, > > I've just published the latest and greatest version of ucLinux/ARM SDK > preconfigured > for Aplio/TRIO eval board... > There are also pre-built compiler, binutils, and gdb > > the link is http://aplionet.aplio.fr/uclinux/page3.htm > > > Enjoy > ----------------------------------------- > Vadim Lebedev > Chief Software Engineer > Aplio SA. > mail:vlebedev@aplio.fr > http://www.aplio.com > ------------------------------------------ > > This message resent by the uclinux-dev@uclinux.org list server > http://www.uClinux.org/ > > This message resent by the uclinux-dev@uclinux.org list server > http://www.uClinux.org/ > > This message resent by the uclinux-dev@uclinux.org list > server http://www.uClinux.org/ > This message resent by the uclinux-dev@uclinux.org list server http://www.uClinux.org/
